This is part 6 of our 6-course series covering the First Aid Essentials.
Everyone knows how critically important First Aid is for both the workplace and life in general. This First Aid series contains 6 bite-sized courses – you can go through them in order or refer to each course as you wish.

This series will cover the following topics:

2. Basic Life Support, CPR & AED.
3. Bleeding, Choking & Shock.
4. Fractures, Spinal Injury, Burns & Minor Injuries.
5. Heart Attack, Poisoning & Stroke.
6. Diabetes, Asthma & Anaphylaxis (this course).

This course is designed to teach maritime security professionals how to effectively search a cargo vessel for the presence of contraband and/or stowaways.

This course covers mandates in SOLAS (Chapter 13 - Training).

It can be very difficult to know what to say to someone who is going through this extremely tough period in their life. Despite our best wishes, we can end up causing more harm than good if we do not know what to say. Sometimes, even the most well-intended comments and conversations won't help the grieving person. This course is important for everyone, as bereavement and grief will always be present, both within and outside of the workplace.

Plate Heat Exchangers (PHEs) play a pivotal role in maintaining thermal equilibrium in diverse applications, particularly within marine engineering. Oceans occupy much of our planet's surface. Sustainability and the blue ocean are vital topics. The seabed harbours many resources, containing rich history of millennia of items lost at sea. It is estimated there are some 3 million wrecks, and there is growing interest in investigating these, whether the focus is protection, looting, access, information or historical investigation. From a cultural heritage perspective, there is much to learn about what goes on in the sea.

This course aims to help you understand the sea from the underwater context in which superyachts reside.

This course explores the healing power of biodiversity and emphasizes the importance of preserving and harnessing Earth's rich variety of life. It highlights traditional medicine systems that have long recognized the therapeutic properties of plants, animals, and ecosystems, emphasizing the need to respect and preserve indigenous knowledge. Medicinal plants contain a vast array of therapeutic compounds, and sustainable management is crucial to ensure their availability.

Handling Static Accumulator Cargoes on Tanker Vessels. This focused training equips maritime professionals with essential knowledge on managing static accumulator cargoes, covering safety practices, regulatory compliance, and emergency procedures to ensure safe and efficient operations.

This course provides an in-depth exploration of Electronic Navigational Charts (ENCs), essential tools in modern maritime navigation. Participants will learn about the structure, functionality, and application of ENCs within Electronic Chart Display and Information Systems (ECDIS). The course covers key topics such as voyage planning with ENCs, understanding ENC accuracy and the importance of the Category Zone of Confidence (CATZOC), as well as the procedures for installing and updating ENCs.

The Logistics course is divided into Art Management: Logistics Handling and Packing and Art Management: Logistics Transport and Storage, which is this one.

The purpose of these courses is to give you all the tools you need to know about moving artwork from A to B.
